Eh, he wasn't into it...

Do you remember when you were a kid and your parents tried to get you into a sport or activity you just didn’t want to do? For me it was ballet, it was boring and I was supposed to bow down to my instructor at the end. Yeah right…he should have been happy I showed up at all. I could have been riding my bike around looking for mud puddles with tadpoles in them! And it always creeped me out that he wore these skintight pastel lycra pants with a matching tank top. I was 10, I didn’t need to see his package bouncing around.
Ok…way off topic. Sort of…
Yesterday we found out that Elvis is not interested in being a Weiner Dog Racer. Unfortunately so did the rest of San Diego since we were on tv. I will post video or at least stills as soon as I figure out how. Even though it didn’t go as planned it was still a lot of fun. The dog that won was from Los Angeles. It was brought down by a lady who was REALLY REALLY into it. She had her wienerschnitzel shirt on yellow pom poms & a red hat, she was chock full of wiener dog flare. She was a very nice lady, but she crossed the line I fear I may cross someday if I’m not careful. On this side you have the normal dog owners, on her side you have the crazy dog ladies. Don promises he will keep me on the normal side. Her dog won the faux tv race while wearing a brightly colored ruffled dress & matching nail polish. She told me her dog had also won past preliminary races. I’m looking forward to seeing her racing apparel on Saturday. Haa ha : )

I do have to bitch (pun intended) about one thing. Some lady brought a dog that was in heat, and then bitched about Elvis sniffing her. I had to assure her that Elvis has been fixed & couldn’t do any “damage”. Stupid lady! What the hell! She just HAD to get her face on tv & chat up the anchorman. At least pick your dog up if your quest for local tv fame is so fierce!

But anywhoooo, it was a good time.

Anyone know of a good free mpeg video editor?
