Is it or isn’t it?

I can’t say for sure. I got a call this evening from the woman who found this turtle. He was casually walking down the sidewalk on 30th Street – 1.83 miles away. He’s really dirty and larger than I remember but he does have a very familiar face. (Stop laughing at me) His size kind of threw me but there is a lot of foliage to eat in between here and there & six months is a long time. I told the woman that I couldn’t say for sure if it was mine. She asked if I could take him anyway since she didn’t have a place for him. Anyone who knows me knows I had to take him. I just can’t say no, after all, we have room. So here he is in his temporary abode a.k.a the bathtub. I don’t want to put him in with the other turtles until I know he’s healthy. If it is my escapee, I’m permanently changing his name to Mint Jelly. If it isn’t, well..his new name is now Mint Jelly.
