(Insert happy sappy crappy music here)
Our neighbors with the big neglected, constantly barking dog got a second dog that barks more that the first dog a few months back. The day after a particularly bad evening of barking (which included us and other neighbors unsuccessfully yelling at the dogs to shut up) a FOR SALE sign goes up in their front yard. I had dreamt of that day, I had hoped that the new sod and flowers in their front yard may lead to this. And finally THE DAY HAS COME! I pulled out of the alley and saw it out of the corner of my eye. I looked again in my rear view mirror, got so freaking excited I nearly ran into a parked car. I know the worst case scenario is that an equally annoying neighbor could move in (it really can't get much worse) but then again maybe a cat person will move in. Or someone with allergies who can't have pets. I love dogs, I care about the dogs that belong to the rude neighbors but after 1 full year of barking just a few feet from our front door, this is practically a miracle. I take that back, the miracle will happen when they find somebody to pay 1/2 million for a 720 sq ft house. Argh, it is San Diego, I guess it can happen.
